Christine Lauridsen Sand - Des Moines Community Advocate
Throughout her career, Christine Lauridsen Sand has worked across various industries. Her experience includes 20 years spent with the Lauridsen Group, Inc., where she currently serves as CEO. In addition to her work in this position, Christine Lauridsen Sand remains deeply involved with the Des Moines community.
Ms. Sand has leveraged her expertise in business development to spearhead a variety of projects, including the construction of a new airport terminal in Des Moines as vice chair of the Des Moines Airport Authority. She is also a trustee at the Culver Academies and an honorary director and past chairwoman of the Des Moines Performing Arts. Furthermore, she supports the public works of her husband, Rob Sand, who is the Iowa Auditor of the State.
Ms. Sand’s educational background and training include a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Outside of her work at the Lauridsen Group and in the community, she enjoys running, reading, hiking, traveling, and golf.
